Alyeska 2008: Our South American Adventure

Every mariner's dream is to complete a passage around Cape Horn. Since this admiral wasn't willing to do it on Alyeska, Captain David has settled for a cruise aboard the Star Princess! We departed Atlanta for our direct flight to Santiago, Chile where we will spend two days in Valparaiso prior to boarding the ship. Our friends David & Jackie are joining us there for the trip. The nine hour flight went very smoothly, made all the better by the great service in Delta First Class! The Santiago airport was very easy to navigate and we found our luggage stacked neatly and waiting for us (just kidding! This is an art sculpture in the airport).
